Mary Hayes
With over 25 years of practical experience in both discrete and process manufacturing industries, Mary brings a wealth of knowledge in strategic planning, new business development, marketing, Total Quality, Lean and 6 Sigma among others. Mary's broad experience spans paper, chemical, energy, food and agricultural equipment industries. Her energetic attitude combined with strong team building skills and process orientation has earned her praise from clients and business leaders alike. Her most recent work helped a food industry client significantly reduce inventory levels through supply chain process improvements including customer service level segmentation, disciplined manufacturing scheduling and decision rights. Her personal thought leadership in strategic planning has led to work helping non-profits build data driven planning processes sized for smaller organizations.
Mary holds a B.S. in biology and chemistry from the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire and earned an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. She received further executive education from Dartmouth University's Tuck School of Business Global 2020 Leadership program. Her career began with Appleton Papers, Inc., where she held a variety of leadership positions in various locations across the U.S. From there she joined Deere & Company's Agriculture Division as Director of Global Quality followed by Director of Marketing for North America, Asia and Australia. Most recently, Mary served as Vice President and General Manager for Thilmany, a global specialty paper manufacturer based in Kaukauna, WI.
Mary lives in Wisconsin with her partner and enjoys running, gardening and kayaking.
