Who We Are

Jim Schumann

An accomplished executive in the field of management consulting, Jim's success is largely attributable to the artful blending of his 10 years of direct experience in large and small businesses with over 15 years in strategic management consulting. Within corporate America, Jim has held leadership roles in several disciplines including Sales and Marketing, Strategic Quality, Product Support and Business Development. His work experience spans diverse business cultures from a Fortune 50 company to an entrepreneurial Silicon Valley start up.

As a consultant, Jim has led engagements on a wide variety of business issues including strategic planning, organization design, competency development, change management and business case development. He has effectively executed these efforts in a number of different companies and industries including discrete and process manufacturing, consumer and retail distribution and insurance.

Over the past seven years, Jim has successfully led two large transformation efforts for a Fortune 100 firm integrating all facets of organizational change. These engagements delivered significant business benefits to the client and provided a strong foundation for their future success.

Jim's educational background is diverse and accomplished with a B.S. in Biology from Bowling Green State University and a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Ohio State University. He also holds an M.B.A from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, focusing on operations management and finance. During his eight-year tenure with General Electric Corporation, Jim received executive management development coursework within the GE Management Development Institute in Crotonville, NY<./p>

Jim currently resides in Connecticut with his wife and their four children. He enjoys competitive tennis, fishing and spending time with his family.
