Erich Weber
Erich is a business strategy and managerial professional with 15 years of experience in strategic and financial analysis, organizational leadership and project-driven operations. Throughout his 10 years as a management consultant, Erich has applied these areas of expertise to helping Fortune 500 companies better understand and address their critical business needs.
Erich has experience across the manufacturing sector (including heavy equipment, chemicals, and a variety of home products and consumer goods), as well as retail, media/communications and information technology. His engagements have spanned multiple disciplines including channel effectiveness, organizational design and implementation, customer-focused market strategies, new product development, change management and communication, and the business integration of strategy and technology.
Erich's strengths include navigating complex organizational environments, analyzing and identifying tangible and actionable improvement opportunities, and engaging senior executive clients in the process of change.
Over the past few years, Erich has worked with a Fortune 100 to lead large, cross-functional implementation. In one major project, he combined and optimized the sales and support organizations across two separate operating divisions serving a $10 billion dealer channel. The result was lower fixed costs and higher Dealer satisfaction -- as sales and profits continued to grow. Following that successful implementation, the team expanded to design and implement new marketing capabilities, including the creation of a centralized tactical marketing team to enable faster and more effective market action and responses to competitors. The scope of these projects spanned opportunity prioritization, organization design, functional implementation and change management across the U.S., Canada and Australia.
Beyond the functional and operational expertise he brings to these projects, Erich builds strong relationships with division leadership and aligns management teams to navigate the operational and political complexities inherent in large-scale change.
Erich holds a B.S. in Business Management from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. in Marketing Strategy and Information Technology from the University of Maryland. When he's not consulting, Erich enjoys doing just about anything with his two boys, and being outdoors golfing, skiing, jogging, or just relaxing with his family and friends. He lives in Leesburg, VA with his wife and sons.
